FEUP

Tecla Colorida was founded in 2009 as a spin-off from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) which is one of the co-promotors in investigation project Creative Schools (SI I&DT), collaborating in multimedia and educative games.

Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) is associated to schoooools.com since the beginning, in late 2006, when were developed the very firsts prototypes that explores the idea of "school wiki for elementary schools", involving the company founders: Ademar Aguiar (teacher), Mário Lopes and Nuno Baldaia (ex-students in master in Informatics and Computation Engineering).

INESC Porto

Tecla Colorida was founded in 2009 as a spin-off from INESC Porto which is one of the co-promotors in investigation project Creative Schools (SI I&DT), collaborating in multimedia digital archive and meta-information to users generated contents area.

INESC Porto had an important role in the initial definition of the business plan, in late 2008, collaborated in dissertation works and schoooools.com development.

Start-Up Chile is a Chilean government program, created by Ministry of Economy, that aims attract international entrepreneurs with high potential to come to Chile launch their business, with the goal of transform Chile in innovation and entrepreneurship America Latina's hub.

Tecla Colorida is one of the 100 companies and was selected to join this program and are operating in Chile since June 2011, with part of their development team.
